Super 8 Motel - Fountain

Over all it served its purpose, the beds where really hard,the whole hotel smelled of smoke, the outside lock was never locked, but it served the purpose that was need a place to sleep.

The motel was close to our destination, but overall it was a disappointment. It was right next door to an adult video store. Our security lock on our door was broken. On a brighter side, the bathroom was very clean, which is very important. We used our own bedding, but theirs looked okay. The worst thing that happened was the second night we stayed there (our last night), the fire alarm went off several times from midnight to five a.m. There was no fire, and no explanation from staff as to why they were going off. I would leave my room about 10:30 each morning and get back around 3 and my room was never cleaned the entire stay. Also the free breakfast really offered nothing and if even though it was offered until 9 am by 8: 30 the majority of the items were gone and were being put away. ...read more

Ok hotel if you want close to the Army base and are not going to be in the hotel except to sleep. Rooms were run down and needed repairs in many areas. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Would not stay there again because we saw other hotels/motels in Colorado Springs that were nicer and had pools. ...read more

The linens were dirty and dingy and the bed was like sleeping on the floor and squeeked every time you moved.

The staff was real friendly, it was conveniently located, and a lot of amenities, a lot of space in the room, washer and dryer facilities were available. The hotel was clean and well kept. It was a great affordable price. ...read more
